Director of Christian Education

    Job Opening

    MSUMC is seeking applicants for the important ministry of Director of Christian Education.  Primary tasks include choosing curriculum for and coordinating volunteers and meeting space for nursery, pre K-12 and adult educational programs.  The position is 26 hours per week with the salary to be negotiated.

    Qualifications include:
     

    -          Basic understanding of United Methodist theology as well as a personal spiritual commitment

    -          Bachelor’s degree

    -          Computer skills

    -          Prior experience working with kids

    -          Ability to enlist, inspire, train and coordinate laity
