People Serving

Many people help in making a worship service.

An assistant is available to run the chairlift for those with difficulty climbing the stairs to the sanctuary.

The greeters welcome people as they come into the sanctuary. Often times a whole family will act as greeters. The ushers give people the bulletin and help them find seats.  They can provide Large-print bulletins and Hymnals.   They also help with the gathering of the offering.

Two youth serve as acolytes. They light the candles at the start of the service, and extinguish them at the end. An adult is there to assist.

The Pastor leads the worship service. The Liturguist does readings and also leads different parts of the service.

The adult choir leads the hymns and often performs special music. The other church choirs (kids, youth, bells) also perform special music on a regular basis.

The Liturgucal dancers may perform sacred dance during some services.

A sound operator sets up and runs the sound system during the service.   Supplemental wireless audio is available for those with hearing difficulties.
